Heinz-Peter Jansen - President & CEO After becoming an engineering graduate at RWTH Aachen, Heinz-Peter began working in the industrial sector as a manager of a software department. This brought him to North America where he joined an automotive supplier with the goal of strengthening their ties to the European market. After successfully running worldwide activities, in 1991 he decided to create JanSar. Initially, services were provided to automotive and aviation companies to aid in their international activities. Peter A. Jansen Peter A. Jansen received his master’s degree in biomedical engineering from Ohio State University and his bachelor’s degrees in Biosystems/Biomedical Engineering and German from Michigan State University. He will expand JanSar’s focus into the biotech/medtech sector, providing consulting and management services for companies and universities looking to bring translational research developments into the clinic. His areas of expertise lay in ophthalmology, vision science, tissue engineering, biomaterials, additive manufacturing and accessibility needs for low vision/blind individuals.
